Whether your garage or storage shed is full of project cars, ATVs, Snowmobiles, or Sea-Doos, you’ve probably taken a look at your garage and thought it could be a little more decked out. While there are a ton of fun ideas, we’ve picked a few that are sure to put the “fun” back in “functionality.”

Drink & Snack Fridge

At this point, it’s common knowledge that when you’re interrupted for even just a few minutes, it can take up to 20 minutes to get back “in the zone”. For that reason, we highly recommend adding a mini fridge or drink cooler (or both!) to your garage. This can cut down on interruptions and keep your head in the game.

Tailgate Wall Bench

A tailgate wall bench is a great way to add sitting or working space that can easily be folded away. However, it also adds a little more visual appeal than just a wooden bench. It’s pretty easy to install and can bring a whole new look and feel to your garage.

Custom Signage

What says “You’re the best and you got this” than custom signage? Whether you’re operating your own business out of your garage and you want to look more professional, or you want all of your friends to gaze in jealous glory at your name in lights, it’s a fun and practical way to add a little extra to your garage.

Backlit Walls

Backlighting is a great way to add ambiance and functionality to a limited space. Run string lights behind your hanging tools and enjoy. This is a very simple project that can be undertaken even by the most novice of decorators.

Storage, Storage, Storage

Storage doesn’t have to be boring. From hanging tools from the walls, tucking things in storage space above the rafters, to work tables with storage underneath, storage benches, and storage bins with a cool aesthetic, there are tons of cool ways to incorporate storage into your garage to get your belongings off the floor where they are prone to damage. Not only can this turn your garage from a cluttered mess to a bada** workshop, but it’ll allow you more space for even more cool toys and projects.

There are endless ways to deck out our garage or toy storage. These are just a few. If you ever feel like you’re lacking in inspiration, feel free to ask your wife for ideas. There are entire sections on women-oriented DIY sites for pimping out her hubby’s garage. She probably has more than a few ideas to float your way.
